Many limbs of Yoga in one Practice
This special class is an opportunity to experience yoga in several of its forms: gentle movement, mindfulness, breath, and chanting. Class will include a brief introduction to an element of yogic culture and a gentle yoga flow. Students are encouraged to learn and practice a short Sanskrit mantra and incorporate it in their movement. After practicing these several limbs of yoga, students will be invited to experience deep sonic rest with a special musical savasana. The physical practice may allow students to experience the music in a deeper state of rest. This is an enriching, grounding, and restorative sonic and somatic experience led by Kat Now, a Kripalu yoga teacher and musician on a spiritual path.

I created this class based on my own practice of bhatki yoga (devotional chanting), my desire to teach about the roots of yoga, and my passion for gentle, mindful asana (yoga postures) to help to bring people back into their bodies and live from their hearts.
